Elaine is a versatile and flexible HR professional with over 20 years generalist experience. This wide ranging experience includes HR management in an education trust, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, fleet motor management and the NHS.
A Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, Elaine joined Insight HR in June 2007 and has a successful track record of delivery across a broad range of organisations. Quickly building positive relationships with clients, she adopts a highly enabled approach to meeting business needs, particularly with the range of clients with whom she was worked on a retained basis.
Qualified to Level A & B in Occupational Testing (BPS), Elaine has comprehensive experience of psychometric testing and selection at all levels. She also has comprehensive technical skills in designing and developing HR strategy, policy and procedure, performance management, and employee relations. Further areas of interest and expertise include organisation development, change management and communication.
With substantial expertise and knowledge in management development, Elaine has designed and delivered a number of comprehensive programmes to meet organisation and individual needs. Clear diagnostics to determine learning needs against competencies, designing and delivering tailored modules, facilitating action learning and individual coaching, all fall within Elaine’s area of expertise. She applies these tools with sensitivity and energy to ensure that key aims are met.
Drawing on the ILM Level 5 in Coaching and Mentoring in Management, Elaine has coached many managers across various organisations. She combines significant experience in this area with a supportive approach balanced with positive challenge, energy and warmth. Particularly enthusiastic about developing others, Elaine enjoys helping managers to explore their potential and to stretch to meet key goals.
Elaine has also designed and facilitated development centres, supported by informed feedback to build confidence and improve performance in both individuals and teams, something she particularly enjoys.
