how to write an interim CV



Some points to consider when writing your interim CV are as follows:

• Start the CV with a self-profile (no more than two paragraphs)
• This should include how many years at senior management or director level
• Predominant market sector experience
• What type of assignment/functional area is your speciality?
• What are your unique selling points?
• Key achievements
• Be concise and to the point
• Next, list all interim assignments (last first)
• Briefly listing dates, company name, interim title, responsibilities and
  achievements
• Include facts and figures on budget, staff levels, targets and achievements
• Employment history comes next – again be brief
• Stick to a maximum of 5 pages of A4
